Eggs and Life Cycle
Children will learn about the life cycle process of several animals and bugs, using eggs as the staple of the unit. The children will use this science topic to practice basic math problems and letter skills, including letter recognition and letter-sound matches.
One hour of rest time is mandated by the state of Illinois. We keep our bodies quiet on comfortable cots with lights dim and music playing softly. We provide cozy blankets and they are kept with your child's cot all week and washed every Friday.
Older siblings who attend Epiphany Elementary School need to be signed up for Day Camps. Please follow the sign up genius link from the Before and After School Care tab. Option To Stay students are automatically enrolled in all day camps.
Monthly menus will be sent home with your children. Redbird Catering delivers a complete meal every day and strives to prepare child friendly food choices. We serve 2% milk or water to drink. We keep ketchup, mustard, ranch dressing, and bbq sauce in our kitchen. The children sit together at a large table, begin with a prayer, and practice using good table manners.
2016/2017 FOOD ALLERGIES: This is a peanut - tree nut free school! Please keep this in mind when packing your child's lunches! Thank you!
